Henrik Svensmark - More on Heart attack

and here AGAIN we see the way he IPCC has worked. Everyone who has said "the IPCC is a scientific body, and is not biased" is basically either STUPID or LYING.

I assume the person being criticised, if they are a skeptic/denier, is probably telling the inconvenient truth about climate change.

Recently, Henrik Svensmark and Eigil Friis-Christensen published a reply to Lockwood and Fröhlich - The persistent role of the Sun in climate forcing, rebutting Mike Lockwood's Recent oppositely directed trends in solar climate forcings and the global mean surface air temperature. In it, they correlated tropospheric temperature with cosmic rays. The figure below features two graphs. The first graph compares tropospheric temperature (blue) to cosmic rays (red). The second graph removes El Nino, volcanoes and a linear warming trend of 0.14°C per decade.

Now add in some complications:

1. The rotation of the Solar System around the Galaxy.

It takes about 250? million years for to rotate around the Galaxy. 1 Galactic Year.

4 spiral arms.

Each time the Solar System passes through a spiral arm, we get more cosmic rays, more/whiter clouds, and so the Earth gets cooler.

Also when the Solar System passes through an armlet as it is now.

About 70 million years ago we started to enter the Sagittarius spiral arm, which resulted in cooler conditions here on Earth.

The theory also explains how differing number of sun spots come to affect year to year climate change on earth.

The later makes this a key book for those interested in the global warming debates, especially since so much of the research is recent. This makes it a must read since the evidence is not yet in most other popular discussions of climate change.

Indeed, the authors go out of their way to say that they are not interested in promoting a bonfire of fossil fuels just because the importance of CO2 in the recent warming trend may have been exaggerated.

Let the testing of the cosmic rays, manmade carbon emissions, and other theories continue, with the objective of arriving at a clearer understanding of what kind of climate change we can expect for this planet and why.

The debate is called scientific inquiry, and that is a good thing.

Sun's Magnetic Field + Earth's Magnetic Field + Cosmic Rays

I think this is all pretty convincing that the magnetic field outside Earth affects how, and how many, cosmic rays enter Earth's atmosphere, and that in turn affects the amount and whiteness of the clouds, which has a HUGE impact on the climate.

So the root of significant climate change is:

1. Cosmic Rays
2. The magnetic field that affects how they arrive, and how many arrive.

Which raises the obvious question, how is the magnetic field outside the Earth created?
I think it is a mistake to only consider the Sun's magnetic field. Yes, the Sun is big and has a huge magnetic field, but I think it is the combination of the Sun's magnetic field with the magnetic field of the Earth, possibly with other influences, which creates the total magnetic field which affects cosmic rays.

This magnetic field is going to affect the quantity of cosmic rays, possibly affect their speed/direction etc, and also affect where they tend to arrive in the atmosphere.

This will determine where most clouds tend to form, which in turn will affect where heating from the Sun is reduced by cloud reflection.
